•  The Pontifical Gardens are not included in this ticket.
•  Pets are not allowed on the tour (except guide dogs)
•  No dragone (histopad cord)
•  Due to a large number of steps, the monument is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
• The rooms closed to visitors are those of the chamberlain and the notary

Every day 

November 4 to December 31: 10am-5pm*/ -> last admission at 4pm at the Palais 

*School vacations December 21, 2024 to January 6, 2025: 10am-6pm -> last admission 5pm at the Palais 

The visitor can see over 20 rooms, scenes of historic events, in particular the pope’s private chambers and the frescoes painted by the Italian artist Matteo Giovannetti. The Popes’ Palace also offers the visitor continuous cultural activities throughout the year.

The ticket includes the visit of the Palace of the Popes as well as the histopad which is a touch pad that allows to live  a temporal immersion in the major parts of the monument, entirely re-constituted as they could be in the 14th century.

IMPORTANT: 

Each visitor must go to the line for pre-paid tickets and present their Avignon City Pass or Avignon City Pass.
