Visit Écomusée de la Bresse Bourguignonne

Presentation of the history of local crafts within the natural and archaeological context of the Bresse region and the Chateau of Pierre-de-Bresse itself. Permanent exhibition of crafts activities from yesteryear, the local economy and means of production nowadays. Collection of traditional Bresse country furniture, and an audiovisual presentation room. The museum also contains a tearoom and a conference room/concert hall. Musical entertainment is held every Sunday from June to September and during the concert season. The chateau grounds are also open to visit.

Come and discover the history and characteristics of the Burgundy Bresse region in the majestic setting of a 17th century castle. Natural environments, traditional trades and activities, objects of daily life and housing... All aspects of the territory and its inhabitants are evoked during the visit.

Open every day from 01/07/2024 to 31/08/2024 from 10.30am to 12.30pm and from 1.30pm to 6.30pm. Open every day from 30/03/2024 to 30/06/2024 and from 01/09/2024 to 10/11/2024 from 2pm to 6pm.
