Site Nordique de la Cernay Blanche

The Montbenoit sector, located in the north of the Jura massif, is a typical mid-mountain area, with a well-preserved architectural heritage, scattered villages and unspoilt countryside with a succession of coombs and forests. There are 4 sites around Montbenoit that are ideal for Nordic activities: La Cernay Blanche, Arc-sous-Cicon, Haut Saugeais Blanc and Gilley, each with their own special features.

On the other side of the valley, La Cernay Blanche rises to an altitude of 990 metres. From Cernay Blanche, also known as La Chaux, you can enjoy five cross-country ski trails, ranging from the green trail for beginners to the long 16km black loop. Two snowshoe itineraries are also available from Cernay Blanche.

You can also try sledging and learn to downhill ski with a 'baby' ski lift.

Services on offer: information point, self-catering room, equipment hire, downhill skiing.
