Visit Maison de la Négritude et des Droits de l'homme

The memorial was built around article 29 of the Cahier des Doléances de Champagney, in which the inhabitants of this modest commune called for the abolition of black slavery in 1789. This house is also a place for reflection on slavery, racism and human rights... 
Opening times : 
1 April to 31 October: Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 12pm and 1.30pm to 5.30pm; Saturdays and Sundays, 2pm to 6pm; 
From 1 November to 31 March, Tuesday to Saturday, 1.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. Certain bank holidays are closed. Groups welcome by appointment only.

<h4>Hours : </h4> From 1 April to 31 October, the Maison de la Négritude is open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 12pm and from 1.30pm to 5.30pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 2pm to 6pm.
