Site Nordique de Prémanon - Station des Rousses

When you come on holiday to Prémanon, one of the four villages that make up the Les Rousses resort, you combine the pleasure and beauty of the mountains with the diversity of activities, all in the warm atmosphere of a ski resort on a human scale.
The resort of Les Rousses, in the heart of the Jura Mountains, is renowned for the quality of the services it offers, and has been awarded a number of labels, including Flocon Vert, Tourisme et Handicap, Qualité Tourisme, etc.
Prémanon offers all kinds of activities: cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledging, dog sledding, Nordic ski touring, and you can even skate on the ice rink at the Espace des Mondes Polaires. The village is crossed by the famous Transjurassienne race, which passes through the heart of the village every year on its way to Les Rousses. Prémanon is also known as the home of Paul Emile Victor, the great explorer of northern lands...
There are several ways to start the runs:
- Prémanon village: access from the heart of the village, ideal if you want to get around on foot. Rather easy runs, with the option of joining more difficult runs through the Bois de la Sambine.
Services: accommodation, ski school, mushers, restaurant, hors sac room, tourist information point, public transport, services, sale of royalties.
- Prémanon - La Darbella: the start of the pistes is on the edge of the D25, making it very easy to get to. The pistes that leave from here are also easy ones, heading towards the Massacre forest. This means you can get to more difficult runs and even the runs of our Swiss neighbours.
Safe toboggan runs and dog sledding in the village.

Please note: Forêt du Massacre = biotope zone: please respect the access conditions.

Snowshoe itineraries: ungroomed, so can be more physically demanding after snowfalls. Departures from Prémanon.
Espaces Libertés: free pistes. These areas are groomed and accessible to pedestrians, snowshoers, cross-country skiers, sledges and dogs on a lead: the Village in Prémanon.

Downhill skiing: JURA Sur LEMAN ski area, comprising the Dôle/Tuffes and Serra massifs: 39 runs and 23 ski lifts.
