Site Nordique du Val de Vennes
Situated in the north of the Jura Mountains, the Val de Vennes Nordic site is located in the Fournets-Luisans commune.
The Val de Vennes, at an altitude of between 900 and 1,000 metres, is marked by typical Haut-Doubs landscapes: fir and spruce forests, valleys, combes and old Comtois farmhouses.
This Nordic site offers cross-country skiing and snowshoeing (5 km trail). At Val de Vennes, you can ski on 15 km of runs (skating and classic) but there are also links with neighbouring sites (Les Combes / Gilley) which offer a total of 30 km of runs.
Run by an association of enthusiasts, the Val de Vennes Nordic site offers equipment hire and a heated picnic room.
