Visit Maison du Parc National & Maison de la Forêt

In the heart of the Châtillonnais region is the first forest interpretation centre. Its exhibition on wood, the forest and its actors, is a thematic place of awakening and discovery, exchange and information. Allow 1.5 to 2 hours for a visit to discover the entire centre. Lectures/debates, naturalist outings for fauna, flora, (orchids, mushrooms, wild berries, cavage...), exhibitions of artists' work; tree climbing, GPS course. New! The Maison de la Forêt is now the first National Forest Park House, so come and talk to the organisers to better understand the roles and future of this first Park dedicated to the French forest.

The 1st Forest Interpretation Centre is located right in the heart of the Châtillonnais region. A new feature! The Maison de la Forêt is now the first Maison du Parc national de forêts, so come and talk to the organisers to find out more about the role and future of this first Park dedicated to the French lowland forest.

Hours :

Open from 01/04 to 07/09 and during the All Saints' Day holidays, Tuesday to Friday, 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 6pm, Saturday and Sunday 2pm to 6pm (except All Saints' Day). Please note that the ticket offices close at 5pm! For the rest of the year, visits are always possible by appointment.
