Site Nordique des Rousses - Station des Rousses
Les Rousses, the main town of the Les Rousses resort, is located in the heart of the Haut-Jura Regional Natural Park. Known for the quality of its services, the resort of Les Rousses has been awarded several labels, including Flocon Vert, Tourisme et Handicap, Qualité Tourisme, etc.
Located at an altitude of 1,107 m, it is the heart of the resort with numerous services and shops, a variety of activities on offer, all in a natural and preserved setting. Made famous by the Transjurassienne, the race passes through the heart of Les Rousses every year, with the very famous Optician's climb and its % incline.
From Les Rousses, many activities are available for all levels of skiers and snowboarders, whether they are beginners or experienced: cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, Nordic ski touring, mushers, horse-drawn carriages on snow, downhill skiing, fun areas... and many more to discover!
Departure from the pistes in Les Rousses: main departure from the centre of the village, behind the Tourist Office: L'Orbe: two green pistes for beginners, and a red piste for the more experienced. Departure from the pistes and snowshoeing itineraries.

Espace Liberté at the start of Les Rousses: free access to groomed runs, open to all Nordic sports: be careful to ensure that all skiers and snowboarders can share the same terrain:
Le Tour du Fort (2.5 km - 15m difference in height).
Start of the La Gouille à l'Ours trails: located on the edge of the Lac des Rousses: ideal for beginners with fairly flat cross-country ski trails, possibility of joining Bois d'Amont via the GTJ.

Start of the Combe Au Vert - Loge à Ponard runs: start located in the Risoux forest, more difficult run with a steep slope on the red run.

5 Snowshoe trails (21 km) with prepared areas for pedestrians and snowshoe walkers. You will find them from: la Serra, la Frasse, la Darbella, l'Orbe from les Rousses and l'Orbe from Bois d'Amont.
14 Snowshoe itineraries (73 km): ungroomed, so can be more technical after snowfall. Departures from Lamoura, la Frasse, la Darbella, Prémanon, Les Rousses, la Combe du Vert and Bois d'Amont.
Alpine skiing: JURA sur LEMAN domain composed of the Dôle/Tuffes, Serra and Noirmont massifs: 53 runs and 30 ski lifts.

- GTJ snowshoeing: Bois d'Amont - Les Rousses: 9.6 km
In the Les Rousses resort: sports centre, skating rink, horse riding centre, games area, telemark and biathlon lessons.
