Site Nordique de Prémanon - Station des Rousses

Coming on holiday to Prémanon, one of the four villages that make up the Les Rousses resort, means combining the pleasure and beauty of the mountains with the diversity of activities, all in the warm atmosphere of a human-sized ski resort.
The resort of Les Rousses, in the heart of the Jura Mountains, is known for the quality of the services it offers, notably through several labels, including: Flocon Vert, Tourisme et Handicap, Qualité Tourisme, etc.
In Prémanon you can enjoy all kinds of activities: cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledging, dog sledding, Nordic ski touring, and you can even skate on the ice rink at the Espace des Mondes Polaires. The village is crossed by the famous Transjurassienne race, which passes through the heart of the village every year and then on to Les Rousses. Prémanon is also known as the home of Paul Emile Victor, the great explorer of northern lands...
Several slope departures are possible:
- Prémanon village: access from the heart of the village, ideal if you want to get around on foot. Rather easy runs, with the possibility of joining more complicated runs through the Sambine wood.
Services: accommodation, ski school, mushers, restaurant, salle hors sac, tourist information point, public transport, services, sale of fees.
- Prémanon - La Darbella: the start of the slopes is located on the edge of the national road 5, and is therefore very easily accessible. The pistes that leave from there are also easy pistes, in the direction of the Massacre forest. This means that you can reach the more difficult runs and even the runs of our Swiss neighbours.
Safe sledging and dog sledding in the village.

Attention: Forêt du Massacre = biotope zone: please respect the access conditions.

Snowshoe itineraries: not groomed, so can be more technical after snowfalls. Departures from Prémanon.
Espaces Libertés : free access to the slopes. These areas are groomed and accessible to pedestrians, snowshoers, cross-country skiers, sledges and dogs on a leash: the Village in Prémanon.

Alpine skiing: JURA Sur LEMAN domain composed of the Dôle/Tuffes, Serra and Noirmont ranges: 53 runs and 30 ski lifts.
