Site Nordique de lamoura - Station des Rousses

Lamoura, a charming little village in the Les Rousses resort, lies at an altitude of 1150 m. The resort of Les Rousses, in the heart of the Jura Mountains, is renowned for the quality of its services, and has been awarded a number of labels, including Flocon Vert, Tourisme et Handicap, Qualité Tourisme, etc.
Lamoura is the ideal place to enjoy Nordic activities: cross-country skiing, snowshoeing on a signposted route, tobogganing on specially designated areas, or Nordic ski touring. Or simply stroll around Lac de Lamoura on the signposted footpath.
It is also the starting village for the legendary Transjurassienne cross-country ski race. This 68km race links Lamoura to Mouthe in the Doubs department, through the valleys and forests of the Jura mountains.
In Lamoura, you can also enjoy downhill skiing with the La Serra lifts.

Possible departures from Lamoura:
- Lamoura Village: departure from the heart of the village, for a gentle introduction to cross-country skiing. You can link up with the more difficult runs via Les Arobiers. The village of Lajoux can also be reached via the Combe du lac link.
Services: ski bus, accommodation, restaurant, salle hors sac, shops, floodlit piste (Piste du Bas des Meures: 1.5km, the piste is floodlit every day from dusk to 10pm from the Christmas holidays onwards), tourist information point, ticket sales.
- Lamoura Combe du Lac: famous start of the Transjurassienne, from here you can walk around the lake on an easy green trail with little difference in altitude. You can also get to the start of the next runs, from La Serra.
