In the footsteps of the journeymen carpenters... !
Come and discover the masterpieces of the journeymen carpenters and the history of the carpentry school founded in 1871 in Romanèche-Thorins. Its founder, Pierre-François Guillon, a journeyman carpenter, taught his students drawing, materials cutting and woodworking techniques. Carpentry and companionship are listed by UNESCO as part of humanity's intangible cultural heritage.
Visit the museum as a family with the children's trail for ages 3 to 8.

The museum is open every day from Tuesday to Sunday. Closed on 1st May and Mondays.From 02/01/2025 to 30/04/2025 from 2pm to 6pm.From 02/05/2025 to 30/09/2025 from 10am to 6pm.And from 01/10/2025 to 14/12/2025 inclusive from 2pm to 6pm.
