As you float along, your guide will tell you all about the history of this area, once exploited for its salt, and which in 2021 underwent major renaturation work to bring the marsh back to life so that it can once again play its ecological role as a &lsquo;blue carbon sink&rsquo;.

Access by bus

Reservations must be made by telephone with the La Rochelle Conurbation Office: 05 46 41 14 68 and your pass number. Subject to availability.

Depart from the car park at the lake, next to the football pitch, avenue Robespierre, 17000 La Rochelle. Maximum 20 people, duration 2 hours.
