Brun de Vian-Tiran: lovers of fine materials made in France will recognise the name of the oldest spinning mill, still in operation in France. For 8 generations and over 2 centuries, the Brun family has travelled the world in search of the finest wool, transforming them in their factory in l’Isle sur la Sorgue. A shop and interactive museum have just opened to tell the story of this wonderful adventure.

The shop and its museum, where visitors embark upon a multi-sensory experience, is located along the canal of Comtadine Venice, in a wing of the two-hundred-year-old family-run factory. Pierre and Jean-Louis Brun, the 7th and 8th generation now at the helm of the company founded in 1808, wanted to share their passion for noble fibres and the rare craft of &quot;wool making&quot;, a time-honoured trade that transmits the 
values of local know-how, solidarity, sustainability and eco-responsibility, for the softest blankets that are kind to our planet.
