Situated in the heart of the historic district of Vieux-Lille, the Hospice Comtesse, a former medieval hospital founded in 1237 by the Countess Jeanne de Flandre, is an emblematic part of Lille's heritage. Since 1962, it has housed the city's art and history museum. Vieux Lille shuttle bus with stop on request at the museum entrance.Bus line 14 or Navette Vieux Lille - stop: Lion d'Or. Open every day from 10am to 6pm, except Monday morning and Tuesday. Closed on 01/01, 01/05, 14/07, 15/08, sale Monday, 01/11 and 25/12.
