French Brewery Museum
Housed in the former brewery of Saint-Nicolas-de-Port, a Historical Monument since its closure in 1986, the Musée Français de la Brasserie (French Brewery Museum) showcases the traditional equipment used in beer production.Visitors can explore the various stages of brewing, fermentation, and beer packaging during their tour. The museum also holds an extensive collection of posters, enamel plaques, and other advertising items from different French breweries. In the "Moreau Room," visitors can admire woodwork, furniture from the École de Nancy, and stained glass by Jacques Gruber.Significant restoration work has recently been carried out on the Art Deco brewing building. The brewing tower has been restored to its original elegance, as envisioned by Nancy architect Fernand César in 1931.The French Brewery Museum in Saint-Nicolas-de-Port is open daily (7/7) from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM (closed on December 24, 25, and 31, January 1, and May 1).
