Run by Jean-Jacques Germain, in partnership with Sandrine Banessy, Terre de Pastel is the leading resource centre for pastels. 1,500 m² dedicated to pastels: a truly exceptional and innovative venue. Terre de Pastel reveals all the secrets of the pastel plant, a legendary plant that formed the basis of the region of Cocagne’s wealth.

This centre is dedicated to the history of pastel cultivation in Occitanie. Here, you’ll learn about the dyeing process, the plant’s life cycle, its history in the Pays de Cocagne, and its benefits for cosmetics. Workshops and guided tours are available to ensure a comprehensive and immersive experience.

The museum offers a unique experience, with dyeing demonstrations and workshops available throughout the year, from Tuesday to Saturday, by booking via email or telephone.

Round off your visit by exploring the adjoining shop and workshop, or by relaxing in the spa, bathed in natural light, where you can discover its innovative ‘Bleu par Nature’ range of cosmetics.
