Château of Chaumont-sur-Loire

Belvedere on the wild Loire, offering one of the most beautiful views of the Royal River, Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire, which now extends over 32 hectares, welcomes more than 500,000 visitors a year. It brings together the Château (XVth-19th), its stables, its landscaped park and the International Gardens Festival.
A centre of arts and nature, the Domaine also hosts installations of contemporary artists and exhibitions of great photographers. In July-August: the "Nocturnes au Jardin" invite you to a poetic walk to discover the gardens of the Festival; Restaurants du Domaine welcome you and offer inventive cuisine with a choice of local and organic products.
