HOW DOES IT WORK? 
The Pass&#39;Alsace is either a physical pass (a hardened card in bank card format with a QR Code) or a dematerialised pass that you simply wave in front of a suitable reader in the places you visit.

HOW DO I ACTIVATE MY PASS&#39;ALSACE? 
The Alsace Pass has a QR Code that you simply have to present at the places you visit. The Pass is activated the first time it is used in one of the partner venues. The duration of the Pass&#39;Alsace is automatically calculated from the first time it is used in partner museums and sites. The Pass is valid for 24 or 48 consecutive hours or 3 or 5 days over 14 days (consecutive or not).&nbsp;

For the Batorama option (which you can request from Pass&#39;Alsace), you need to go to the shop in Strasbourg city centre, opposite the Cathedral, to validate your slot. You can also send an email to info@batorama.com to book your slot in advance. All you need to do is enter your Pass&#39;Alsace number, preferred day and time, postal address, e-mail address and telephone number . Make sure you choose your slot carefully to optimise your day&#39;s visit: Batorama is a visit that requires validation, so a day will be deducted! Don&#39;t go straight to the docks without choosing your slot! You also need to book with One City Tours in Strasbourg (by phone, email or on site). The Ch&acirc;teau du Haut-Koenigsbourg also offers advance booking for Pass&#39;Alsace holders. All you have to do is select the free admission option (the Pass will be your proof of entitlement).&nbsp;

FROM WHAT AGE IS A CHILDREN&#39;S PASS WORTHWHILE? 
The Children&#39;s Pass is definitely worthwhile from the age of 6. Below this age, there is a calculation to be made, as some sites are free, while others charge from the age of 3, 4 or 5. Don&#39;t hesitate to ask us for a personalised simulation at contact@pass-france.com.&nbsp;

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PASS? 
There are over 60 partner sites in the Pass&#39;Alsace network. You can visit as many tourist sites as you like during the period of validity of the Pass! And there&#39;s no limit! There is only one limit in Strasbourg, with the possibility of visiting 3 of the 9 museums on the list.

ARE THE SITES OPEN TO THE PUBLIC ALL YEAR ROUND?&nbsp; 
Yes, for the vast majority of sites, with the exception of certain animal parks and castles which are not accessible in winter and certain service providers who are on holiday in winter. To avoid disappointment and make the most of your stay, contact our team for advice. A Winter Pass will be available from 11 November until March.&nbsp;

The Maison Rurale de l&#39;Outre-For&ecirc;t is a former farmhouse, typical of the region called &quot;Outre-For&ecirc;t&quot;, located in the Vosges du Nord Regional Nature Park. Now a heritage interpretation centre, the Maison Rurale de l&#39;Outre-For&ecirc;t offers visitors the opportunity to discover the habitat, way of life, traditions and know-how that existed in the Alsatian countryside between 1920 and 1950.

Visit of the Maison Rurale de l'Outre-Forêt

The Maison Rurale de l'Outre-Forêt was created at the instigation of the Cercle d'Histoire de l'Outre-Forêt. The Cercle was looking for a farmhouse representative of the North Alsace region to showcase its heritage and open it to the public, but also to pass on the traditions and know-how of the Outre-Forêt. The Rural House was inaugurated in July 1998. Since then, it has welcomed 12 to 15,000 visitors per year.

The Maison Rurale de l&#39;Outre-For&ecirc;t is a former farmhouse, now a heritage interpretation centre: a lively place to discover Alsace&#39;s heritage and its popular arts and traditions.

The various collections on display, illustrations of rural life in the first half of the 20th century, as well as the activities, workshops and exhibitions that complete the visit to the site, invite young and old to embrace the multiple facets of the regional art of living: from the architecture of the buildings to the traditions and know-how of our ancestors...

Outre-Forêt Rural House

Soultz-sous-Forêts is located on the TER line Wissembourg - Strasbourg, 45 minutes from Strasbourg. Kutzenhausen is located 3 km from Soultz-sous-Forêts. A cycle route links the two communes.

From May 1st to September 30th: Tuesday to Sunday and public holidays from 11am to 6pm. From 1 October to 30 April: Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11am to 5pm, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 2pm to 6pm. Closed on 25 December and in January.

The visit of this traditional farmhouse, along with craftmen&rsquo;s workshops, a dairy and even a classroom, is an invitation to discover rural life, popular arts and traditions of the early 20th century.
