The Bazoin locks landing stage is a destination open to all: 
As a family, enjoy a moment of peace and quiet as you meander through the canals. Accompanied by our guides, choose the time that suits you to learn about the history, fauna and flora of the area. 
As a duo, climb aboard one of our canoes/kayaks for a sporty, natural experience. 
With friends, hoist yourself onto paddles and take advantage of the wider canals to try your hand at this concept, while discovering the local flora and fauna with our guides. 
And if you're feeling adventurous, you can follow the trails and clues trail or the sensory trail around the pier, with a reward in store! 
Strolls along the water's edge, but also bike rides: at reception, you can rent a rosalia or a bike and explore the paths of the Marais Poitevin.<h4>Opening period</h4>From 30/03 to 31/05, daily between 11 am and 6 pm.

Boat trip from La Ronde - Bazoin pier

The only landing stage in Charente-Maritime for a unique immersion experience in the heart of the Marais Poitevin. Situated 45 minutes from La Rochelle and away from the crowded tourist resorts, the Bazoin locks landing stage is one of 14 sites in the department's ‘Echappées Nature’ network.

Access by bike

The Embarcadère des écluses de Bazoin is located along the Vélofrancette cycle route. Access by car

Free parking for visitors at the Bazoin locks pier.ADVANTAGE INCLUDED in your La Rochelle Océan Pass (adult fare only): receive a €10 discount on the rental of a Yélomobile car. Bookings must be made by telephone to the Bazoin landing stage: 05 46 56 41 28, quoting your pass number. Subject to availability.

Opening hours

April, May, June, September: open from 10am to 6pm.July and August: open from 10am to 7pm.

Seasonal closure

From the Bazoin locks landing stage, you can take a 1h30&nbsp;hour trip along the water in the heart of the Poitevin marshlands. Aboard traditional boats, accompanied by a guide specialising in the environment and the history of the marsh, you&#39;ll follow in the footsteps of the unusual animals that live at the heart of this amazing ecosystem.
